Open House & Pancake Breakfast a Sweet Success

On Saturday, April 6, 2019 Ashwood Waldorf School hosted its fifth annual Open House & Pancake Breakfast. I was fortunate enough to flip pancakes for all of the wonderful children and adults who visited the school that day. There were current Ashwood families as well as visitors interested in our school. While the smell of sweet batter on the griddle set the mood for a cheerful and tasty day, boiling syrup in the sugar shack, rangoli sand drawings, math games, circus arts, beautiful crafts in early childhood, and a flash mob sing-along rounded out the good fun and provided enriching activities throughout the day. Many people worked hard to create this welcoming event for our community. Thank you to everyone who was there for making it such a lovely time for all.
