Fieldtrip: A Search for the Source

On April 8, upper grades students met at Ragged Mountain to follow Hosmer Brook up the mountain in search of its source. Along the way the students identified tress and observed the changing forest make up as they gained altitude. At the top they could see clear across the state and beyond, from Mt. Washington in the White Mountains to Cadillac Mountain in Acadia. On the way down, the students had a great time slipping and sliding on the still-snowy slopes, picking up trash on the way.
