Join us for Ultimate Disc this spring beginning on Wednesday, May 1! Open to all 4th-8th graders in the midcoast, this after-school program is coed and no experience is needed. You will learn all the skills and rules you need to play. Your skills are sure to improve, but the main goal is to have fun. Sessions will be Wednesdays and Fridays, 3:30–4:30 p.m. from May 1 through June 5 (no session on May 3 and 10). We will meet at Ashwood Waldorf School, 180 Park Street, Rockport, at 3:25 p.m. and walk to Camden-Rockport Elementary off of Rte. 90 (West Street). Pick up will be at Camden-Rockport Elementary at 4:30p.m. The cost is $50 per student. The club is led by Ashwood teacher, Jeremy Clough. Jeremy has taught at Ashwood since 2006. He holds a Level-1 certificate in Spacial Dynamics, a five-year program of study that provides a foundation for approaching the Waldorf movement curriculum. When Jeremy is not practicing his ultimate “layouts” he can be found canoeing, skinning, gardening, and whitewater rafting.
