The Show Must Go On! (And It Did!)

Traditionally, the last day of school at Ashwood is a festive day of sharing as we put on our annual Spring Revels at the Camden Opera House. This year, as the faculty began to wrap up a spring semester of distance learning, we were faced with yet another challenge: How do we celebrate the school year in this stay-at-home time? Our answer: a live-on-Zoom broadcast of the End-of-Year Assembly on Friday, May 29.

Did you miss the show? Don’t worry, we’ve recorded it! So, get some popcorn, gather the family, and enjoy this 35-minute video featuring: a slideshow of classwork from each student in grades 1-8, a poetic tribute to the Class of 2020 by the 5th and 6th graders, the Ashwood Strings performing “Simple Gifts,” and an at-home sing-along (join in!) of the school song.
