It starts with a violent shipwreck, but wait… no one perishes, and the passengers, now marooned on a deserted island, begin to notice eerie noises emanating from the forests. Meanwhile, the king’s son, last seen plunging into the brine, is believed dead. And, by the way, what kind of mischief are the court jester and the king’s butler planning?

Come find out the answers to these and other Shakespearean conundrums at the Class 7-8 production of The Tempest. Performances will take place Wednesday, February 12 at 6:00 p.m. and Thursday, February 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Watts Hall in downtown Thomaston. Admission is free, and all are welcome! Grades 1-6 will be bussed to the daytime performance.
