Picnic Tables

Over the course of the spring, class 3, 4, 5, measured lengths and angles, cut boards, fastened, and weather-proofed two early childhood-sized picnic tables. Each student had a chance to learn and practice each skill and could measure, cut, hammer and drive screws with confidence. It was great to have such a purposeful project and rewarding to see the delighted faces of the early childhood students as we delivered the tables to Rosewood.
