ASHWOOD WALDORF SCHOOL is situated on a spectacular 32-acre hillside campus in the midcoast area of Maine.
The school has two main purpose-built classroom buildings, the Early Childhood Center and the Grade School Building.
Separate, modular buildings house the woodworking studio, the handwork room, a conference room, and a resource room for tutoring.
The Michaelmas Library, a small collection of anthroposophical books, is available to parents, faculty, and community members, as are numerous community meeting spaces.
A variety of outdoor play spaces dot the campus. Trails for walking, exploring, nature journaling, botanical studies, running, and cross-country skiing crisscross the wooded portions of the grounds.
