Welcome spring with Maypole dancing, live music, games, a puppet show, refreshments, and more! Open to the public.
This special event takes place on the last day of early childhood classes. The children, wearing silken capes and golden crowns, cross a flower-bedecked bridge into “summerland.” This event is for parents and children, and it is important that each child has a family member present.
You’re invited to two free summer craft events for children 3-6 years old with an accompanying adult. Join us on Tuesday, July 16, 10-11:30 a.m. (preregister by July 12) and/or Tuesday, August 13, 10-11:30 a.m. (preregister by August 9). Events take place at Ashwood’s Early Childhood Center and its surrounding gardens and woodlands. They are lead by our Early Childhood teachers and include a watermelon snack and simple craft activity. We’ll make pinwheels in July and in August we’ll paint and plant terra-cotta pots. To preregister or for additional information, email: email@example.com or call 236-8021.
