Our annual Michaelmas pageant and hike will take place Thursday, October 1. The entire festival will take place at Camden Hills State Park. Parents will need to drop off and pick up students at the main entrance of the park on Route 1. Drop off and pick up times are the usual Thursday times: 8:15–8:30 a.m. for drop off and 1:00 p.m. for pick up.

All grade school students will be participating in the pageant, which begins at 8:40 a.m. We encourage parents (immediate family members only) to join us for the pageant. Bring a chair or blanket, if you wish, and expect to be sitting or standing at least six feet away from the other spectators. The pageant lasts from 20-30 minutes. EC families with children in the grade school are also welcome to attend with their EC students. EC teachers will on hand to receive these students when they arrive after the end of the pageant.
Following the pageant, the students will hike to the top of Mount Battie. Sadly, we are unable to include parents and family members on the hike this year. We encourage parents to send their children to school wearing sturdy footwear and, if possible, a backpack (versus a satchel or sack) containing extra layers of clothing: it is often windy and cool at the summit. Be sure to include a hearty snack and water.
All grade school children must be picked up at Camden Hills State Park Headquarters by 1:00 p.m.
