June 17-21          Printmaking with Nature (Miss Rachael) FULL!

This printmaking camp will provide quiet and focused time to search or leaves, ferns, bark, rocks and other found objects to use with paper and paint to create works of art from the wondrous world around us.

June 24-28          Fairy Homes & Summer Gardens (Miss Rachael & Miss Willie) FULL!

Come build a fairy home and learn all about summer flowers and gardens that the fairies, spirits, gnomes, and other friends inhabit.

July 15-19          Building Forts & Castles (Miss Rachael & Miss Willie) FULL!

Spend the day away at the stream that meanders through the deep woods of Ashwood’s campus.  Knights of the forest will be building stone ‘bridges’ to hop across the river and constructing ‘castle’ forts along the banks.

Aug. 5-9             For the Birds (Miss Rachael)

Learn all about our fine feathered friends who live in Maine.  Campers will create shelters and bird feed stations and learn different species of birds.

June 24-28          Junior Circus Play! (Ms. Swan, Ms. Tucker, Ms Hunter)

Join us for a week of circus play!  We will juggle, spin, balance, roll, tumble and play games under the guidance of Ashwood’s Movement Teacher, Rose Swan.  Tabatha Tucker (Ashwood’s Handwork teacher) and Marlies Hunter, (Ashwood’s Art, Music & Class Teacher), will lead the campers in artistic adventures and crafts!   

July 15-19           Wild Ways Camp (Ms. Swan, Ms. Tucker)

Come play in the woods!  We will wander, wonder, and weave in the fields and woods in this Wild Ways Camp.  We will play games, make art and explore the beautiful woods and waters around Ashwood’s campus.

June 17-21          Playing with Fire (Ms. Nevin)

Explore the relationship between humans and fire, one of the oldest tools of our ancestors. Practice safely creating, tending, and benefiting from fires using matches, wild tinder, friction, and other methods.

July 8-12             Nature Art Camp (Ms. Hunter)

Campers will create art with things that can be found in the natural world.  Campers will make their own paint and charcoal, dig and mold clay, make nature paper, and more!

July 22-26           Buzzing about Bees (Ms. Hunter)

In this Bee-themed camp campers will spend time in nature and learn about the amazing life of bees. Activities include felt a bee, beeswax sculpting, make a mason bee home, create your own beeswax lip balm, create a pollinator ‘Seed bomb” and more.

June 24-28          Youth Circus Troupe! (Ms. Swan, Ms. Tucker, Ms Hunter)

Join us to make our very own circus with your friends! We will spin, juggle, balance, roll, clown, and tumble.

July 29-Aug. 2     Movers and Makers Camp (Ms. Swan, Ms. Tucker)

Come learn to make your own fun! We will learn simple games and activities you can play home with friends, learn to make delicious snacks with really yummy local food, make herbal crafts, and make beautiful and simple crafts/handwork projects. Projects and actives will proton the joy of self-sufficiency and being both mover and a maker.

July 8-12             Fiber Arts Camp (Ms. Tucker)

Campers will practice weaving, spinning, and stitching, as well as enjoy time in the meadows and woods at Ashwood hiking, playing games and making smoothies.

June 24-28         Teen Circus Troupe! (Ms. Swan, Ms. Tucker, Ms Hunter)

Join us to create and be the stars of the circus! Come learn several impressive human pyramids, intriguing partner balancing tricks, poi and spinning plate tricks, juggling sticks and 3-ball juggling, how to walk on stilts, how to be a clown, and balance on a rola bola.

In the event of any emergency, I authorize Ashwood Waldorf School to secure from any licensed hospital, physician and/or medical personnel any treatment deemed necessary for my child/ward’s immediate care and agree that I will be responsible for payment of any and all medical services rendered. I understand that this authorization includes transporting my child by ambulance if necessary to the nearest medical treatment facility if I am unable to be reached first.
