Family Frolic at the Snow Bowl

Please mark your calendars now!

In March, 2013, a wonderful thing happened. Mr. Kaczor and his Second/Third Grade students entered a contest at the Camden Snow Bowl‘s Cardboard Box Race. They won for the Best School Entry! Their prize was a free day’s use of the Snow Bowl.

The class wants to share this gift with members of the Ashwood community for a time of fun, food and frolic on Saturday, October 5.

We think you’ll enjoy watching this video clip of the winning box racer.

Here are the details:

  • What: Family Frolic and Potluck at the Camden Snow Bowl
  • Who: Ashwood families
  • Host: Robert Kaczor’s Third/Fourth Grade Class
  • Where: Camden Snow Bowl
  • When: Saturday, October 5, 2013; noon until 6:00 pm

We will have use of the lodge, including the kitchen, so you may bring hot foods already made or prepare them there.

No need to sign up, just come with whatever you’d like to share.

  • Musicians: please come with your voices and instruments.
  • Bring: Hula Hoops, jump ropes, pogo sticks, Frisbees, bikes, fishing rods, and so forth. Cardboard boxes are great for sliding down Ragged Mountain. Have a spare? Please share!

(No drop-offs, please. Parents will be fully responsible for their children.)
